Manglors - Press Release

For decades, the legends of their horrors have persisted.

The eggs, hidden in the depths of FOSSIL POINT, have existed in a state of hibernation.

Now, after forty years of silence, the volcano of MANGLOR MOUNTAIN has erupted again - and the MANGLORS - are back!

In 1983, the Ideal Toy Company introduced the "stick-icky creatures from another dimension", the Action Aliens known as the Manglors.

Comprised of both ferocious warriors and incredible creatures, these beings "made of the strangest stuff on earth" - sorbothane - were stretchy, sticky clay-like monstrosities.

The incredible box art by the late, great Ken Kelly promised the ultimate warriors of terror, but a perplexing marketing decision prompting kids to tear them apart doomed the line. Not even the addition of the amazing Prehi-Storage Eggs in 1984 could save the Manglors from tumbling into the toyboxes of obscurity.

In 2013, Toyfinity officially acquired the rights to the Manglors.

Developed for ten years, redesigned from the combined minds of Matt Doughty and Erwin Papa, the new Manglord stands tall at 4.25 inches of power!

The reimagined Manglors utilize the GLYOS SYSTEM of joint technology, allowing them to finally fulfill their original promise of "tear em apart / stick em back together again!"

Additionally, you can mix Manglors parts with any other Glyos compatible toyline to create your own custom monstrosities.

The initial release of the new Manglors was on 1/29/2023 - with the standard classic colors Manglord selling out in less than two hours.

Now, due to popular demand, the standard Manglord is back!

We are offering a special five day reorder - from today, 2/6/2023 through 11:59 pm on 2/10/2023 - allowing you to add this supreme warrior chieftain of the Manglor tribes to your collections!

This pre-order is expected to ship May 2023.

But he is not alone...

As a special bonus, you will also have the chance to add a returning threat from the primordial times of planet Uzalek to your collection - the PROTOLORD. Risen again from the depths of Manglor Mountain to challenge the Manglord, this malleable menace has never known defeat!

His two-tone green look is inspired by the vintage unpainted Manglord who was released with Manglor Mountain. Joining him are his demonic followers, the PROTOMORDLES, plus you will have the opportunity to purchase Prehi-storage Eggs in two varieties, created from the vintage Manglors tooling!

Any order placed during this special pre-order period will also come with a special art card by Erwin Papa depicting the battle of these two warriors for the title of Manglord! This art card will only be available during this pre-order.

Looking into the future, the terrifying vision of artist Nate Baertsch provides a preview of the breadth of Manglors to come.

Don't miss out on your chance to start a Manglors collection with the keystone figure in the collection, the Manglord!

Only from Toyfinity!

THANK YOU! Darkness Will Fall - Again!

A big THANK YOU to everyone out there who supported the latest Toyfinity release!

I have to say I was pretty stunned when I received the sellout notice on the Knight of Darkness.
We knew he was a demanded figure and we bumped the order numbers up significantly on him for this round. Currently looking at when we'll get the classic version out again (and maybe some fun variants - Scuba Gear Knight of Darkness anyone?).  If you wanted the Knight - or just more of the classic version - leave a comment on this post so I know what the demand is.
We've also heard you loud and clear - there will be more Darkness Soldiers in upcoming waves.

Above, see the combined build for Super Zobor - when Maxx Zero combines with Zeroid Zobor, a new force for good is unleashed on the universe! However, Maxx finds himself a passenger in this new more powerful body as Zobor moves to battle the Knight of Darkness...

Toyfinity should be back with another release in the first half of this year.

Keep your eyes peeled for more great releases throughout February from the rest of the Glyos family - and jump over to the Glyos mothership at Onell Design for a great new release currently on sale.
Add the evil Redborg Syndicate to your collection today!

Ah, one last thing - Zintar the Explorer is up for an award in the Poppies this year!

Get over there and vote if you will - voting ensures Zetonian citizenship!

Invisible Warriors!

Maxx Zero left Zeton during the grieving process for a fallen friend.
He battled against the threat of Imperious Maxx and Demonslither.
He learned of the existence of the NEO ZEROIDS, and their link to the ancient past of Zeton.

Looking for answers to the origin of Zeton and the solution to rescuing his planet from the enslavement of Nazgar, Maxx quests for a crucial mechanical predecessor to the Neos - Zintar the Explorer, a legendary Prime Zeroid.

While making routine repairs to his ship on an uncharted planet, Maxx discovers a long forgotten Zeroid who has harnessed a rare element that allows him to become invisible - and its devastating effect on biological entities.
Maxx uses the element to give himself invisibility, unaware that the interaction with biological material in his own Z-Core will have unintended side effects... While Maxx, the Forgotten Zeroid, and the rest of the Force battle horrible SLIME MORDLES, Maxx begins to hallucinate, his mental circuits poisoned by the element. His eyes shift to black, his mind possibly lost... Will Maxx prevail?
Will the Slime Mordles destroy the universe?
Only you can decide!

With this release, Toyfinity closes out its fourth year of business operations. Many thanks as always to the godfather Matt Doughty for his assistance and inspiration.

What will 2017 bring? Wait and see...for now, enjoy these editions - and pick up some of the classics still available!

THANK YOU!

Thank you to all of the fans who supported our most recent release of Robo Force, Zeroids, Mordles, and Star Team characters!
You have many choices for your collectible needs, and each and every purchase is appreciated more than you can know.
A few fans had asked for a pic of the Maxx Zero build possible with the Sentinel kit, so check out Protector Maxx Zero above!
The Nazarran and blank white kits are low stock so get them while you can.

And do not despair, supporters of the Cult of Dred...though the Robo Force has once again beaten the Darkness Soldiers, the Darkness shall Fall again...

Ah, a special thanks to Matt Doughty of Onell Design for once again allowing the Robo Force to live again. Can't do it without you, my brother.

Sentinel is going away!

We're down to the last stock of Hunter Sentinel - once he's gone, he's gone for good in this colorway!

I had ordered a tremendous amount of stock on this guy back in 2014 to make sure we'd have something in the store for a long, long time - and he's officially our best-selling figure ever! Thanks to everyone who discovered Robo Force over the years and ordered as many as ten of this guy at a time.

We're still on track for new product late May/early June - stay tuned!

CROSSOVER TIME! Meet the Gendrone Force Defender!

Toyfinity is proud to show off the first crossover with Onell Design - the Gendrone Force Defender!

From the Onell blog:
"This wave has a few special points of interest, a major one being our first crossover production run of Toyfinity's Maxx Zero, from their Robo Force line. Due to the combined creative development of Maxx Zero, the core figure was loaded with many hidden configurations while being prototyped by Ron and I at the shop. One particular build, the Gendrone Force Defender, was designed to eventually surface in our ongoing story arc. The idea behind this specific form centers around a lost piece of Old War technology discovered by Argen while mining the database of a prototype Buildstation located in the Sendollest Drifts for information. Argen soon puts the Gendrone Force Defender into full production, pulling it from obscurity to join the ranks of the Gendrone Rebellion. Special thanks go out to John Kent and the Toyfinity team for sharing the mechanical madness that is Robo Force with us!"

From the earliest development stage, I told Matt that he should incorporate as much of his potential future figures into Toyfinity products as possible. Tooling is ridiculously expensive, and I'm happy the rebirth of Robo Force has helped grow the mother Glyos universe in some way.

The sale is TONIGHT, Tuesday 3/31/2015, at 9:30 PM EST.
Toyfinity will NOT have any quantity of these to sell, so please pop over to Onell Design and buy some tonight!

Imperious Maxx...is not alone.

This just in - Onell Design will be contributing a Glyos item to the Club Zeton package!

With a retail value of $12, this new addition to the package will remain a mystery for now, but joins Imperious Maxx, the lenticular stickers, the test shot, the Mystery Modules, and everything else to make Club Zeton an unbelievable value for your money!
And that's saying something in 2015- Toyfinity and Onell Design care about the fans, and want to give you something fantastic!

What will it be? What effect will it have on the world of the Robo Force - and beyond?
Stay tuned!

(this doesn't have anything to do with the above, but my all-time favorite Onell teaser was on this page)

Important - heat up those Maxxes!

A quick reminder - with the Northeastern US in freezing conditions, it is important to heat up the Maxxes if you are going to:
A) build with them or
B) put together some of the leg parts properly. The factory is always striving to make the best functional product, and the hole on the center legs section is pretty tight on this round. We've seen some deformation on the pegs if you try to cram them into the center part while cold.

Here's Matt's recommended method (from the long-ago year of 2010!):

Matt
Thanks guys! If you want to use these to build with, I have a couple suggestions. Take a small box (like the folding type we send out) and cut about a 5 inch slice into a mini flap on the top of it. Throw your FEMALE parts in the box and then stick the front of a hairdryer in the flap on the top of the box (be careful) once the box is closed. After about 20-30 seconds of applied heat the box will get warm and the higher temp will soften up the hard parts. Use the rigid male limbs to assemble the figures and things should go much easier. Just heat in intervals and watch the temp on the hairdryer.
It will make customizing easier and more efficient when using the harder figures.

You can also put the parts into boiling water, or use a hair dryer directly on the parts.
Above all else, BE CAREFUL!
Toys are supposed to be fun, not dangerous.

MAXX-AH-AH!

From my Instagram - the Maxxes have arrived!
Happy to say all the paint applications look great, and the figures feel really nice.
I think we actually increased the weight of the Ultimate Maxx with all the paint.

So, the buyers of these Maxx Editions will receive an e-mail in the next day or so with a special link asking them to confirm their addresses. Shipping should begin end of next week - in one of those strange occurrences, a box containing the switch pins for every Ultimate Maxx was not included in the order and is being rushed to Toyfinity HQ as we speak. Shipping for orders without Ultimate Maxxes will begin once the address confirmation link is confirmed.
Thanks to everyone for going on this journey with us - I'm super-excited for you to get these figures in your hands!
